I feel i really understood what the article was talking about. I think anyone reading my summary can understand what the article itself was about. If i were honest no i do not think i put enough time into it. I know i can do better. I procrastinated a lot when it came to this summary. I am gonna work to do a lot better on future papers and summaries. I believe i deserve a C. I'm not gonna say it is an A but i do not think it is an F. I think looking at the rubric rules a C would be right for the work i put into it. I could have done better by spending more time on it then i did. I put it off and like i said had to procrastinate which wasnt the best thing i could have done. It was challenging to me to not put my own opinion in the summary. So many times i wanted to say how i felt about the article itself but i couldn't. I don't really have any questions at this point. I think this first summary is gonna prepare me to do better in the future. I know what to do now, and i know what to expect.

The writing process
The six steps to the writing process are understanding the task, gathering data, invention, drafting, revision, and editing. My writing process is much like the ones out of the book. I spend a lot of time on the revision part of my papers. Sometimes i think i might spend to much time on it. I will go back and change a lot of the things i have said.I have a problem with over thinking it sometimes.I think that this is a weakness of mine. Because then i end up changing my paper to not making sense. I think i need to spend more time in my writing on the editing part. I struggle with grammar a lot. I need to start editing my grammar mistakes. I should spend more time on making sure all my sentences and paragraphs are correct. This chapter i think will really help me as i grow as a writer. I am going to refer back to this chapter often i think as i go on.

I am Anna Humrichous.I am from a really small town in Illinois by the name of Chrisman. It has a population of about nine hundred. So if you can imagine college is a huge transition for me. I am 18 years old and the youngest of four. My current major is elementary education. I plan on changing it to undecided. I have no clue what i wanna do right now. I am waiting to see where god leads me. I love to sing and hang out with friends. I am super out going and love meeting new people. Olivet hasnt always been my first choice in schools. I grew up in a christian house hold. My parents are 2 of the greatest christians i know. However, I havent always followed in their footsteps. I only applied to Olivet to make them happy but did not plan to attend. In May i gave in and told my parents i would give them a semester.Since then i have had a change of heart. God works in mysterious ways and i am so happy i chose to came here. I have never been so whole and happy as i am here. I am looking forward to these next four years.
